The UT Extension- McMinn County office and Starr Regional Medical Center- Diabetes Center will be offering Dining

with Diabetes classes on Tuesday: April 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2023

(10am-noon) and (6pm -8pm). The classes will be held at the

UT Extension Office, 2345 Denso Dr., Athens. Dining with

Diabetes is open to anyone with diabetes, family members of

diabetics or anyone at risk for diabetes. Learn how to prepare

quick and healthy meals that taste good. Recipes will be prepared each class and participants will have the opportunity to

taste each one.

There will be an Open House for the Bike & Pedestrian

Plan for Downtown Athens on Thursday, March 23rd at 5:30pm

to 7:00 pm at 3 West College Street (event space @ white

street market) and is an in-person meeting. A virtual link will

not be provided for this meeting. Downtown residents and

businesses are encouraged to attend.
