Would you do a us favor? Etowah's Library is conducting a Patron Satisfaction Survey at the library and trying to get as many responses as they can. They want to hear from everyone in the community, not just those who use the library.
Through the month of April 2023, E.G. Fisher Public Library
will hold a Program Funds Campaign Drive to collect monetary
donations to support programs at the library. It takes supplies,
money, and community support to run programs at the library
benefitting all ages. As a non-profit library, the program budget
depends mostly on donations and sponsorships from community
individuals, businesses, and organizations. Their goal is to collect
$5,000. You can contribute through a donation or a sponsorship
with E.G. Fisher Library. You may donate in person while visiting the library. by mail to 1289 Ingleside Avenue, Athens, Tn
37303 or click HERE To apply for a sponsorship, pick up an
application in the library or call to request an application by mail
or email. Sponsorship applications have a variety of customizable
packages ranging from $100 - $750.
Isaiah 117 House, a Tennessee-based organization that cares
for children awaiting foster placement, will soon cut the ribbon
and officially open their Monroe-McMinn County house. On
Wednesday, April 12th at 5:30 pm, the nonprofit will host a public
ribbon cutting. The event will officially open the Isaiah 117
House in Monroe-McMinn County and will feature several local
speakers as well as Isaiah 117 House officials. All who have supported or partnered with Isaiah 117 House Monroe-McMinn
