Friendly City Festivals announces the sixth concert in the 2024 Sounds of Summer will feature Nashville based husband-wife duo Sugar Lime Blue. The concert will be held at Market Pavilion on 106 South White Street in downtown Athens, Tennessee starting at 7:00 p.m. this Friday. July 19th. Concert goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets family and friends for a toe tapping night of entertainment. Food trucks for the evening will include Kona Ice, Magnolia Cookies and Roots Puerto Rican Food. Sugar Lime Blue has a strong prescence in the Americana / Jam Band scene having played national and regional festivals for years. With four studio albums, nearly 1,000 performances and over a decade of experience, Sugar Lime Blue is redefining Americana, drawing from jazz, blues and country to create a purely unique sound. Fans of classic rock, blues and traditional country will find all three with SLB.
