Alabama governor signs bill barring diversity, equity and inclusion programs

While Republicans on the House Oversight Committee continue to insist that President Joe Biden has committed crimes, testimony today by a former associate of Trump’s disgraced ex-lawyer Rudolph Giuliani was so damning not for Biden but for Republicans that Representative Stephen Lynch (D-MA) told his colleagues: “When you review the entire record of evidence of these hearings going back over a year, you've actually provided more evidence to impeach Donald Trump for a third time than you have in so much as laying a glove on Joe Biden.”

We haven't had a clean up this year yet, so since Spring is this week, cleaning up Mecca Pike this Saturday, March 23rd at 8 am seemed like the best time to start back up cleaning our adopted road. We are responsible for the first 2 miles of Mecca Pike from 411 going East. We meet at the Engineers Building about a mile out on the right at 8am. Plastic bags and a couple of pick up sticks are available. Bring your own gloves. Safety vests are provided as well. It usually takes about and hour and a half to clean up depending on volunteers that show up

But Really, Just File a Motion to Recuse Already

I was willing, wrongly as it turns out, to give Judge Aileen Cannon the benefit of the doubt when she was assigned to be the judge on Trump’s first effort to attack the Mar-a-Lago prosecution. That happened before he was indicted, following the execution of the search warrant when his lawyers filed a completely unwarranted civil action to block DOJ from using evidence they had lawfully obtained. Cannon ruled on Trump’s behalf but was mercilessly bench-slapped by the Eleventh Circuit, reversing her not once but twice, before DOJ got its hands on all of the evidence and subsequently indicted Trump.
