The Piedmont Lithium Power for Life Foundation donated $10,000 to Friends of Etowah Carnegie Library to support its need for a new overnight book drop system and expand its STEM books and equipment. The bulk of this funding will support the purchase of a new book drop. The remainder will allow the library to purchase new STEM books and rentable science kits, to support the library’s programming and make hands-on STEM learning more accessible.
